Community service and leadership are among the core values of Matovich, Keller Huso. The firm actively encourages its attorneys and staff to give back to the local communities in which they work and live. Our attorneys support numerous local charities and spend countless hours serving as board members on various foundations and nonprofit organizations.

MKH encourages all of its attorneys to provide pro bono representation to low-income Montanans, in addition to their regular practice areas. MKH’s attorneys have provided pro bono representation to numerous clients over the years, many of whom are referred through the Yellowstone Area Bar Association Family Law Project.

MKH partner Katie Huso serves on the Board of Directors of the Montana Justice Foundation—a nonprofit organization dedicated to achieving equal access to justice for all Montanans by providing funding and other support to programs serving Montana’s most vulnerable populations. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, whose work includes rehoming stray animals into adoptive families, reuniting lost pets with their owners, providing veterinary care for shelter animals, and holding spay/neuter clinics. Katie is also a former volunteer for CASA of Yellowstone County, serving as a voice for abused and neglected children in the foster care system.

MKH partner Ryan Gustafson serves on the Board of Directors of the HER Campaign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing holistic restoration for victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and sex trafficking. He is also Vice President of the Board of Directors of the University of Montana Alumni-Billings Chapter.

MKH also donates to numerous charitable organizations and causes, including the Montana Justice Foundation, CASA of Yellowstone County, The Bar X Project, Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, the HER Campaign, and Billings Family Service.
